Standard Camera Kit Program
Selected collection projects require standardized perspectives. Contributors receive a professional camera pack containing:

Mandatory Test Recording
Before accepting paid assignments, contributors must submit a sample test recording to check alignment:

Strict Safety Restrictions
Annotyx AI places contributor safety and task ethics above all else. We strictly forbid and reject assignments that involve:
- Electrical wiring, connections, or outlet installations.
- Open flames, stove ignitions, or combustion.
- Heavy power tools, sharp cutting tools, or factory machinery.
- Working on ladders, roofs, or scaffolding.
- Handling active medications, needles, or chemicals.
- Covert recordings, filming other people, or workplace surveillance.
- Minors under 18 appearing in any capacity.

Payment Structure
We pay fairly and transparently. There are no hidden fees or payouts based on imaginary credits.

Common contributor questions.
Who can apply as a contributor?
Anyone over 18 years of age with a clean, clear workspace (like a kitchen counter, home table, or empty garage) and a high-speed internet connection for uploading original video files.
Do I need to own professional camera equipment?
No. Standard smartphones capable of recording 1080p @ 30 FPS are sufficient for initial test clips. For selected assignments, Annotyx AI ships a standardized camera kit containing chest rigs and static tripods.
Will I have to pay for the shipped camera kit?
No. Standard camera kits are provided free of charge for the duration of the project. A prepaid return shipping label is included to return the hardware once the project is finished or if you stop participating.
What kinds of tasks will I record?
Common household and light logistics actions: clearing tables, wiping surfaces, sorting kitchen items, folding towels, opening cabinet drawers, packing lightweight boxes, or organizing supply shelves. We explicitly exclude dangerous, hazardous, or covert activities.
How does compensation work?
Compensation is disclosed before a contributor accepts an assignment. Payment depends on task complexity, equipment requirements, collection duration, location, and accepted deliverables. Payouts are paid per approved clip and processed weekly.
What happens if my clip fails QA?
If a submission fails the nine-point QA checklist (e.g., camera was bumped, lighting was too dark, or start/end states were cut), you will receive detailed feedback. You may be asked to re-record the episode for full payment.
Can other people appear in my videos?
No. Only the onboarded contributor may appear in the video. All recordings must exclude unrelated bystanders, family members, or minors. Any video containing unauthorized individuals is rejected and deleted.
How large are the uploads and what connection do I need?
Uncompressed continuous takes can range from 100MB to 500MB per episode depending on length. A stable high-speed broadband connection (Wi-Fi or fiber) is recommended to ensure consistent uploads.
